Rehabilitation services include:
- social rehabilitation service - need for the service is assessed and the service is funded by the Social Insurance Board;
- work rehabilitation service - need for the service is assessed and the service is funded by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund.
Social rehabilitation is a social service aimed at supporting the daily coping of a person with a disability or a limited work ability. Through social rehabilitation, the person and their family will learn how to cope daily with the special needs arising from a health condition.
Work rehabilitation is aimed at people who have many obstacles due to a disability or a disease, and who therefore need help from various specialists, i.e. a rehabilitation team, for taking up or continuing employment.
